A) Typically, we forecast 4-5 months from the time construction begins to build your home. However, there are variables that may impact this schedule such as weather, labor and material supplies. Our first priority is to complete your home to our standards before closing so that you and your family can begin to enjoy your home from the first day you move in.
Q) If I have a home to sell, will Eagle Rock Homes allow me to purchase a home contingent on the sale and closing of my current residence?
A) Yes. Eagle Rock Homes does accept contingency contracts. We will contract to build your home for an earnest money deposit of only $500. If for some reason your home does not sell by the time your new home is finished, your earnest money will be completely refunded. There are several reasonable stipulations that apply to a contingency sale. Be sure to check with your sales counselor for specifics.
Q) Why is Eagle Rock Homes priced lower than its competitors?
A) Eagle Rock Homes uses economies of scale to purchase materials and contract with labor to offer the best product at the lowest cost. Unlike many builders we do not install expensive upgrades buyers may not want or need and force you to pay for them just to buy a particular home. We believe buyers should have more control over personal options that are priced fairly. Q) Is it possible to install window coverings while my new home is being built and include this in the mortgage?
A) Yes. We allow buyers to install window coverings during construction and include them in the mortgage. Window coverings will need to be decided upon during the interior selection process. In all cases it is important that delays to the construction of the home are avoided.
Q) How can I find a reputable mortgage company and are there differences from one mortgage company and another?
A) The best source is a referral from a friend or a referral from your Eagle Rock Homes sales person. The companies referred by Eagle Rock Homes have a history of providing excellent service to Eagle Rock Home buyers. Informed buyers realize that interest rate is not the only consideration. Lender closing costs and fees are also an area for review.

A) Every Eagle Rock Homes home comes with a 10 year limited warranty. Additionally, Eagle Rock Homes provides each homeowner with a full 10 yr. warranty on the Trane A/C and Heating units. This is a full parts and labor warranty and is even transferable when you sell your home. Eagle Rock Homes also warranties all material and workmanship for a one year period.
